What We Do
We base our school at a partner farm during our 6 months of training and then volunteer there and perform any work that needs doing. This gives the student a full, real-world experience where theory AND practice are directly applied daily. This offers a real alternative and a viable solution to facilitate re-entry into society.
We believe that this provides our students with a more immersive and fruitful experience and contributes to local sustainability and agritourism.
The institute is an into-work program for female former-inmates. The apprenticeship leads to pre-employment hospitality training, work placement and sustainable employment. This is our core mission.
THE BBA FORUM
A 2 day-seminar to invite local authorities and members of the trade to discuss responsible drinking and our involement in how to apply effective alcohol reduction strategy – the event takes place once a year in early June.
